F-515 Vincenz Priessnitz

(*4.10.1799 - †28.11.1851) A brilliant healer, the founder of modern hydrotherapy and the first hydrotherapy institution in the world. His spa in Jeseník became an internationally renowned facility after 20 years. It was visited by both regular people and the cream of Europe. Priessnitz treated up to 40,000 patients. In 1846, he received the Gold Medal First Class for his work from the Austrian emperor.
