F-414 Rakovník

It gained fame for its production of beer, soap and tiles. The period of its exceptional expansion lasting from the end of the 15th century to the beginning of the 17th century, when it was one of the leading towns in Bohemia from an economic, cultural and construction point of view, culminated with it being raised to the status of a royal town in 1588. It continued its famous history at the close of the Austrian monarchy and successfully strove to transform itself into a modern city with top-end architecture, especially during the period of the 1st Republic
