F-224 Petr Parléř

(*1332 - †13 July 1399) Sculptor, carver, stonemason, builder, architect and founder of the Parléř smelter in Prague, which spread the fame of Czech architecture. His works include the Charles Bridge, the completion of Karlštejn Castle, St. Bartholomew’s Church in Cologne and St. Barbara’s Church in Kutná Hora. He rests under the paving of his largest building, St. Vitus Cathedral in Prague Castle.
