F-183 Peter Vok of Rosenberg

(*1 October 1539 - †6 November 1611) The most important Czech nobleman of the second half of the 16th century and the beginning of the 17th century, and the last member of the most influential Czech family, the Rosenbergs. He fundamentally influenced the architecture of the chateau residences of southern Bohemia, founded the famous Rosenberg library, and advocated for religious freedom in the country. He was a patron, an art connoisseur and a Renaissance bon vivant.
