F-208 Joseph Wenzel Radetzky von Radetz

(*2.11.1766 - †5.1.1858) A famous field marshal for five emperors, who reformed the Austrian army and fought against the enemies of the Hapsburg Empire. He was a soldier for 75 years, participated in 17 campaigns and received almost 150 decorations. He was instrumental in the definitive defeat of Napoleon’s troops in the Battle of Leipzig and he prevented the breakaway of the Italian dependencies from the Hapsburg Empire in 1848-49.
