F-568 Jaroslav Vrchlický

(*17 February 1853 - †9 September 1912) A prince of Czech poets, who would go to the ends of the Earth for a little love. His incredibly extensive work includes over 200 volumes, with more than 80 poetry collections and 50 plays. In many of his collections and translations he used foreign poetic forms unknown in the country at that time (ballade, rondeau, sonnet, rispetto, ballata, etc.), thus adding a new dimension to the Czech language.
