F-250 Jan Nepomuk Harrach

(*28.11.1828 - †12.12.1909) A politician, an excellent businessman, a patron of the arts and a member of the elite of the Czech society of his day. His contributions to the development of cultural and political life are enormous. He established the first nature reserve on his estate in the Giant Mountains in 1904 and at the same time he also supported the development of hiking and gave the mountains their modern character to a significant extent.
