F-194 Frantíšek Křižík

(*8.7.1847 - †22.1.1941) A Czech technician, industrialist and inventor who was known as the Czech Edison. He loved life, but he lived simply and unostentatiously. He never assessed the success of his projects according to the profits. He was the greatest critic of the technical level of his inventions and he constantly monitored their functionality in practice. His most famous invention is the arc lamp.
