(*26.2.1878 - †28.1.1930) The most famous Czech singer ever. The divine Emmy was multi-talented and she also turned her hand to writing, translation and composition. She performed at a number of European opera houses and sang at the Metropolitan Opera in New York for 8 years. She performed over 70 operatic roles. After World War One, she lived in her château in Stráž nad Nežárkou. She died more or less in obscurity.
