(*1.9.1288 - †18.10.1335) Czech and Polish queen, a passionate and ambitious women of the gothic period. She established her greatest work, a Cistercian convent with a hospital and the Basilica of the Assumption of Our Lady, in Brno in 1323. She became the life-long partner of the aristocrat Henry of Lipá, alongside whom she is buried under the paving of the very convent that she had built.
