(*23.8.1868 - †21.12.1947) The main representative of unique type of art nouveau architecture lyrically tinged with folk architecture and the fine arts, an ethnographer and a furniture designer. The name of this Slovak “poet of wood” is inherently associated with Pustevny, Hostýn, Luhačovice, Nové Město nad Metují, Rožnov pod Radhoštěm, Brno and Kunětická hora.
