F-163 Adolf Loos

(*10.12.1870 - †23.8.1933) An internationally renowned architect who is considered the founder of the modern concept of architecture. He was the first to relieve buildings of their decorative elements, instead devoting himself to their internal layout. A typical characteristic of his works is the so-called “raumplan”. He designed buildings all over Europe, while in the Czech Republic these include the Müller Villa in Prague and interiors in Pilsen and Brno.
