F-404 Tetín

One of the oldest Czech villages and a venue for historical events. According to legend, its establishment was associated with Krok’s daughter, Teta. Archeologically, however, it dates to the first half of the 10th century, when the widow’s seat of Princess Ludmila, who apparently brought up her grandson, Saint Wenceslas, there for a while, was built there. It was the seat of the Tetín region, the royal gamekeeper and the Přemyslid bastards. To this day, it continues to be a significant place of pilgrimage.
