Experienced travellers are rewarded for their collected Wander Cards with knowledge badges and other rewards.

Category knowledge

Each Wander Card is assigned to one specific category.

The entitlement to the bronze, silver or gold “Category Expert” badge arises upon obtaining 50, 100 or 150 Wander Cards from the given category. Metal knowledge badges can only be obtained in the tourism area of interest.

Higher category knowledge is recognised with the “Globetrotter” badge. This badge in bronze, silver and gold is awarded to remarkable travellers who have collected 300, 500 and 1000 Wander Cards! It is only issued in English and it is usually necessary to visit sites in a number of countries to achieve it.

Bronze, silver and gold knowledge medals are produced for the areas of culture, sport and gastronomy as stickers. Tourists become entitled to them upon collecting 50, 100 or 150 Wander Cards from the given category. They are only published in English.

Regional knowledge

Each Wander Card is assigned to one appropriate region.

The entitlement to the “Regional Expert” badge in the bronze, silver and gold variants is based on obtaining 50, 100 or 150 Wander Cards from the given region. The name of the region is always stated in the language of the given country.

In the case of the Czech Republic, only badges called “Znalec” are awarded in Czech.

Country knowledge

Each Wander Card is assigned to a given country based on its location.

The entitlement to the “Country Expert” badge in bronze, silver and gold variants arises upon obtaining 50, 100 or 150 Wander Cards from each of the largest administrative territories in the given country.

General knowledge

The general knowledge badge has two forms. The first form consists of stars issued in 3 sizes. Every size exists in bronze, silver and gold variants. The small stars are awarded for collecting a total number of 100, 200 or 300 Wander Cards, the medium-sized stars for 500, 750 and 1000 Wander Cards and the large stars for 1500, 2000 or 2500 Wander Cards.

The second form of this badge is the “Globetrotter” badge which is a continuation of the stars. This badge in bronze, silver and gold is awarded to remarkable travellers upon obtaining 5000, 7500 or 10,000 Wander Cards.

With each badge, you will also receive a sticker with the motif of the acquired reward. This can be put in your diary or you can create a separate summary for them.
