F-225 Magdalena Dobromila Rettigová

(*31 January 1785 - †5 August 1845) Author of the most famous Czech cookbook, initiator of social and cultural life. She became a pioneer of modern, fast and practical cooking. At the same time, she tried to spread education and the Czech language among women. Her cookbook was mass published throughout the 19th century, and its recipes are the basis of Czech cuisine to this day.
