(*ca 1370 - †6. 7. 1415) A priest, preacher, the Rector of Charles University and a leading figure in the Bohemian Reformation which strove to reform the church and society. He preached in the Bethlehem Chapel and later at Kozí Hrádek and Krakovec after being forced to leave Prague. Master John Huss was sentenced as a heretic and burnt at the stake in Konstanz for his determination to follow the path of Christ’s truth along with his common sense and conscience.
