F-691 Hluboká Château

It was originally established as a guard castle in the mid-13th century by the Czech kings and it was often put in pledge as royal property. Its significant owners included the House of Pernstein and the Lords of Hradec who converted the gothic castle into a renaissance château. The last owners were the House of Schwarzenberg. They remained at Hluboká until the end of 1939. They structurally renovated the château twice; in the baroque style at the beginning of the 18th century and later in the romantic style of the neo-gothic, including modifications to the park and the surrounding countryside.
