(*23.9.1871 - †24.6.1957) One of the founders of modern abstract painting and a graphic artist and illustrator of international significance. He contributed to the development of so-called Orphism, a movement which brought the painter to a different kind of art. His paintings initially shocked and invoked dissent and dismay. Nowadays, his top works are presented in leading international galleries.
