(*8.4.1859 - †27.4.1938) An internationally renowned philosopher and one of the most influential thinkers of the 20th century who was born into a Jewish family in Prostějov. He was the founder of phenomenology, one of the most significant schools of philosophical thought. The main topics of his philosophy included the problem of getting to know and examining the natural world, i.e. the world of regular experiences in which we live every day.
