F-593 Brádler Huts

They stand at an altitude of 1156 m above sea level and are among the oldest mountain huts in the Giant Mountains. The first of them was first built in 1676 by Wilhelm Bradler. The local huts served the mountain economy which had expanded on the ridges of the Giant Mountains thanks to large-scale tree felling and the creation of natural meadows. The first visitors arrived at the end of the 19th century with the upswing of hiking. After the displacement of the German owners after the 2nd World War, the huts passed to the Czechoslovak Sports Association (Československý svaz tělesné výchovy) which changed to name to the Fučík Huts. The original name was reinstated after 1989.
