F-591 Aleš Hrdlička

(*29.3.1869 - †5.9.1943) Internationally renowned Czech anthropologist, physician and a devoted patriot. His research into native tribespeople in Egypt, Asia, Australia, Europe and Africa was significant. He shed light on the question of the settlement of America by its native inhabitants who came from Asia using the northern route through Alaska. He is the author of a uniform history of mankind, for which he received the Huxley Medal.
